APPLICATIONS FOR 2021 have closed.  They will reopen on the 1st Feb 2022 - 3rd April 2022.
 

Education grants are provided by the Onuku Maori Lands Trust to for those studying full time or part time at a tertiary institute or university who are an owner or direct descendant of a current owner of the Onuku Maori Trust or a beneficiary of a whanau trust.
Applications open 1 February – 3 April 2022 (5pm).
Please note: Applications are not considered complete unless required supporting documentation is supplied to the Rotorua branch of Perpetual Guardian no later than 8th April 2022 at 5pm.

Kaumatua

 

Owners in the Trust, aged 65 years or over are entitled to apply for a payment of up to $200.00 per annum under the Kaumatua Grants. Applications are accepted from the date of the AGM until 15th June following.  The grants are paid in December each year.

Sporting and Cultural Grants

 

The trust does have the ability to provide Discretionary Grants for sporting and cultural representation for Onuku owners or their descendants who are representing Aotearoa New Zealand in a sporting or cultural event overseas.
